Happy Sunday. Went on driving holiday around Australia a few months back and had a huge playlist of new and old playing as we drove. These are the tracks that bring back some great memories from the trip. If you haven’t done a driving trip in your own country before I’d highly recommend it. The first in the Sunday Snooze series. Firstly, unlike the other mixes on soulshine, Sunday Snooze is more a mix tape, or a compilation of tracks that compliment each other. The series was inspired by that fantastic sound a simple guitar and a smokey atmospheric voice can make. Although it has a lot more than just that, it is the essence of most Sunday Snooze mixes. Many songs provoke different memories, good, bad, happy and sad. And they all trigger a chord for me. Wether it be a past girlfriend, and missed family member, or just a giggle at a stupid simple something. Best listened to on a warm sunny afternoon.
